Dutiful son provides funeral entertainment fit for a father who loved strip joints

A loyal son in Taiwan went to great lengths to satisfy his late father's lifelong habit - frequenting strip clubs. The man, surnamed Choy, 62, hired a stripper to perform at his father's funeral in Taichung this week, reports United Daily News. 'Father, please enjoy this last dance. I know you will love it,' he reportedly said before introducing the lady standing by the casket.

The father died late last month at the ripe old age of 103. His son said that after his mother passed away many years ago, his father started visiting strip joints across Taiwan.

Eventually he ventured to Thailand, from where he brought back many pictures of himself posing with transvestites.

Asked whether the funeral entertainment might be considered inappropriate or irreverent, the man said he was only trying to fulfil his filial duties.

'I tried to put on a show when he reached 100, but we never got around to it,' he reportedly said. 'He should have some fun on his last journey.'

The ceremony, however, was not without hiccups. The news media apparently were tipped off and the stripper refused to go all the way in front of so many cameras. Funeral staff eventually cordoned off the area and, with loud rock 'n' roll as background music, she stripped for the dead man.

'Dad, if you like it so much, you can raise your hand out of the casket to touch her,' the son apparently said. Fortunately, the old man did not respond.

The lady declined to be interviewed or pose for the camera.
