Master class

Any true gentleman knows bespoke tailoring is the ultimate in refinement. If that includes you, book an appointment with a master tailor (or two) for made-to-order clothing by brands such as Armani Collezioni, Brioni, Canali and Pal Zileri. Meanwhile, footwear fetishists can order a pair of bespoke shoes from luxury shoemakers John Lobb. Lane Crawford will host these fashion artisans until March 30 and appointments can be made through Lane Crawford's concierge service, tel: 2118 7777.

Art attack

Renegade artist Jean-Michel Basquiat may no longer be alive but his legacy lives on in fashion. Reebok has interpreted Basquiat's work for a new collection of trainers based on the label's NPC UK shoe. The entire surface of the shoe, including the lining, tongue and sole, will be covered with Basquiat's designs, such as crucifixes, birds, skeletons and written words. There are three limited-edition trainer styles (HK$600 a pair) in the collection, which is titled Reeboppers and available exclusively at J-01, 57 Paterson Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 2808 0501.
