When even the glossy, hard-bound brochure smells like expensive new car leather, you know the makers of the CK65 RS Eau Rouge mean business. The collaborative effort between Mercedes-Benz tuning specialist Carlsson and leather lifestyle brand Etienne Aigner has produced only 10 of these speed machines, based on the Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG. The interior appointments are luxurious, with plenty of cowhide, Alcantara and wood lining, but it is what lies under the hood that is more compelling for speed freaks. A turbocharged V12 engine produces more than 700 bhp (brake horsepower) and clocks a 0 to 100km/h time of just 3.9 seconds. This piece of German engineering might blend in well at the starting line of a Hong Kong drag race, but once the flag drops, every other car will be eating its dust.
