Subsidies for the disabled discussed

A proposed HK$200 monthly transport subsidy for disabled people aged 12 to 64 would encourage community involvement, Labour and Welfare Secretary Matthew Cheung Kin-chung said yesterday. He told a Legislative Council subcommittee the amount of the subsidy would be adjusted annually. Some legislators said a half-price discount would help them more.
