It's more than a three-day rugby tournament, it's a week-long marathon with a host of events around town. Here's the line-up, so get into the spirit . . .

InProjects Kowloon RFC Rugbyfest tournament and dinner.

What: The tournament, which this year will feature former British Lions Tim Stimpson and John Bentley and current England player Peter Richards.

When: 10am kick-off on Wednesday.

Where: King's Park.

How much: Free admission.

What: The dinner, which includes a charity auction for the Christina Noble Children's Foundation. Guest speakers - Peter Richards and Brian Lima.

Where: The Quarterdeck Club, Wan Chai harbourfront.

When: Wednesday, 8pm.

How much: Tables of 12, HK$8,800.

Club Terrazas Pumas Night

What: Argentine meat, wine, empanadas and chorizos, South American dancing until late, plus a chance to meet the Pumas team.

Where: Viceroy Restaurant, 2/F Sun Hung Kai Building, Harbour Road, Wan Chai.

When: Tuesday, 7.30pm onwards.

How much: $400 for adult, $250 for children (12 and under).

What: Cocktails, three-course lunch with guest speakers Eric Rush and John Bentley.

Australian Association of Hong Kong Rugby Sevens Drinks Party

What: Meet the Australian team, plus chance to bid for Sevens tickets.

Where: Wombat Hole (The Australian Consulate Bar), 24/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai.

When: Wednesday, 6pm onwards.

How much: $150 members, $200 non members, cash bar for drinks.

South African Association of Hong Kong Dinner

What: Dinner, guest speaker former Springbok Kobus Weise; prizes, meet the South African Sevens team.

Where: Hong Kong Football Club, Happy Valley.

When: Wednesday, 6.30pm.

How much: $400 per person or $4,800 for table of 11, includes one South African team member at the table.

Tullett Prebon (Hk) Ltd HKCC Rugby Sevens Dinner

What: Black tie dinner with guest speakers 'The Wingers', aka former Wallaby David Campese and former All Black Stu Wilson. Charity auction of sporting memorabilia, proceeds to the Christina Noble Children's Foundation.

Where: Aberdeen Marina Club.

When: Thursday 7.30pm, drinks. 8pm, dinner.

How much: $1,000 per ticket, $888 for Cricket Club Members and $11,000 for table of 13.

When: Thursday, 8pm to midnight. Starts after the Tens final.

How much: The invitation doesn't say.

New Zealand Society of Hong Kong wine and cheese evening

What: Meet the New Zealand Aliens team, six-times Hong Kong Tens champions.

When: Tuesday, 6.30pm to 9pm.

How much: $200 for members, $280 for non-members, $50 for children under 16 years.

The Great Canadian Rugby Sevens Lunch

What: A 12-course dim sum lunch with unlimited drinks. Meet the Canada team and auction for the Rugby Canada Foundation.

When: Thursday, noon-3pm

How much: $800 for members, $900 for non-members, $10,000 for corporate tables of 12.

Deutsche Bank Valley Sevens Long Lunch

What: Charity auction for various charities, including HOPE for Children. Guest speakers former Irish captain Keith Wood, Lions legend Ian McGeechan, former England fullback Dusty Hare, with former Wallaby Stuart MacDougall as MC. Watch the first day of the Sevens on a giant screen.

Where: Marquee, Indian Recreation Club, opposite Hong Kong Stadium.

When: Friday, noon till 5.30pm.

How much: $15,000 a table.
