The lawyer of the man accused of murdering the fourth prostitute last week in North Point says he will dispute the legality of his client's confession. Magistrate Symon Wong Yu-wing adjourned the case to Eastern Court on Friday when the defendant, Lam Pui-fung, 30, appeared yesterday in Sha Tin Court. The prosecution told the court that Lam had admitted suffocating Tam Siu-fong on March 16 in an Electric Road flat, where she had a one-woman brothel. But Lam's lawyer said the confession was allegedly made under threats from six police officers.
