A woman was in a serious condition in Queen Elizabeth Hospital last night after corrosive acid was poured on her face in Kowloon City. The woman, 40, was at the junction of Tak Ku Ling and Nga Tsin Wai roads when attacked at about 11.30am. Police said a man thought to be between 20 and 30 approached her and poured the acid before fleeing on foot. A newsstand vendor poured water on her face until an ambulance arrived.
