Three in court over theft of bones from tomb

A baker and two friends who allegedly stole human remains from a tomb did not enter a plea on a theft charge in Fanling Court yesterday after the defence asked for more time. Baker Ip Kuok-weng, 21; unemployed Wong Tsz-wing, 22; and secondary student Pang Hong-ting, 17, are accused of stealing bones from Butterfly Hill in Fanling last month. Principal magistrate Michael Jenkins granted a two-week adjournment.
