Three tickets, which will include new faces, are planned for September's Legislative Council election by the Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood.

The party yesterday announced its new committee members, with vice-chairman Bruce Liu Sing-lee taking over the chairmanship from legislator Frederick Fung Kin-kee. District councillors Rosanda Mok Ka-han and Tam Kwok-kiu were elected as vice-chairwoman and vice-chairman.

Although the party's lists for the forthcoming election will be finalised in a month, Mr Liu confirmed that Miss Mok, 35, a rising star in the party, would contest the election.

He said the party would field three tickets - in Kowloon East, Kowloon West and New Territories West.

The number of ADPL central committee members has increased from 14 to 16, including five members aged between 26 and 33.

Mr Liu hoped the new leadership and structure would help meet the ADPL's aim of strengthening work in the community as well as fostering young talent for leading party roles.
