The silver medal she clinched in South Korea even brought her the Hong Kong Sports Institute's Outstanding Junior Athlete Award.

'The training is intense and account for quite a lot of the time. Before I began training full-time, I had to practise in the morning, then went to school and continued training after school.

'From rowing, I gain great satisfaction. In addition, I've made many good friends. The Asian junior rowing competition is definitely my most memorable experience. Not only did I win a silver medal, I spent my 18th birthday in Korea. I'm so thrilled that my teammates celebrated the big day with me.'
