Authority needs someone with casemix experience

The Hospital Authority is seeking a project manager to support the development and implementation of a casemix (patient classification) funding system.
The candidate would lead a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for managing, developing and co-ordinating the entire system from policy formulation and strategic planning to system development and implementation.
The Hospital Authority needs someone with at least 12 years of health care related professional experience and at least 10 years of managerial experience gained from a sizable organisation. The candidate must have a solid background in health care financing, casemix funding, payment systems and health care resource allocation.
Proven hands-on experience in the development of casemix systems for the funding of hospitals is imperative.
Duties would include leading and co-ordinating across key stakeholders, managing and overseeing the establishment of a casemix office, driving the evaluation, design and development of a clinical costing system, and establishing and maintaining an effective network of communications across all parties to ensure projects are timely and effective in accordance with project plans.
