Students from 12 universities from Hong Kong and the mainland will bring the spirit of one of the greatest English writers to the stage next week as they compete in the 4th Shakespeare Festival at Chinese University. Beginning on Monday, the students will perform selected scenes from some of Shakespeare's greatest works, including Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet and Macbeth. The winning team will receive a one-week trip to London. The festival, which is designed to help students improve their English and drama skills, also included master classes at Peking University, Wuhan University and CUHK.
