Double duty for Twins star with partner in exile over photos

If it seems as if Charlene 'Ah Sa' Choi Cheuk-yin is out and about a lot, that's because she's now doing the job of two people. With her humiliated Twins sidekick Gillian 'Ah Gil' Chung Yan-tung still in extended exile after the celebrity sex-photos fallout, it seems Choi (right) has had to carry her partner's workload, too. Ah Sa's latest duty is taking over Ah Gil's adidas sportswear campaign.

Last year, Chung boasted of her sporty ways as a hurdler in school. On Monday, it was Choi's turn to get physical. Arriving close to an hour late at Harbour City, Ah Sa, in yoga gear, plugged away for the brand even as adidas tried to play down the change in artist.

'Chung's contract had already ended as she was only hired to promote our autumn-winter campaign,' the company rep said. 'We wanted Ah Sa to become our new female spokesperson.'

Choi is not the only artist with Emperor Entertainment Group who's had to do overtime filling in on jobs during the absence of Chung - and possibly for Isabella Leong Lok-sze, who is trying to get out of her Emperor contract. Singer Joey Yung Cho-yee ended a series of concerts last night at the Hong Kong Coliseum originally supposed to have been a set of Twins shows. Choi had to watch from the audience.

'I am not sad. I believe if something is meant for you, you will get it, but if it is not, then it's not. I am happy for Joey and I think she did great,' Choi said.
