Draw a blow for Kitchee hopes

Kitchee's hopes of progressing in the AFC Cup have almost certainly vanished after a 2-2 draw against Perak of Malaysia in group E at Mong Kok Stadium last night. Armed Forces of Singapore, who were held to a 1-1 draw by bottom side New Radiant of Maldives last night, lead the group with 10 points, followed by Perak (seven points) and Kitchee (four). 'We now face a tough battle of making it into the knockout stage,' admitted Kitchee boss Ken Ng Kin. Meanwhile, South China ended their hopes in group D after they were thrashed by Kedah of Malaysia 3-0 last night.
