Giving children a sporting chance

The Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children hosted its 2008 charity golf day at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling on March 17.

With major sponsors Manulife and Morgan Stanley both bringing a large contingent of their office amateurs, the day turned out to be great fun for the 112 folks who played the course.

Among the highlights were several near misses on the starting tee for an Alfa Romeo for anyone who hit a hole in one. The day ended with a luncheon ceremony, and a lucky draw for holidays kept golfers such as Michael Wong Man-tak, Olivia Cheng Man-nga, Jonathan Linstow and Morgan Stanley head Charles Mak entertained.
