A husband and wife committed suicide yesterday by burning charcoal in their Sheung Shui flat, the sixth suicide pact reported since March 31. The couple were found with their four pet dogs in the King Lam Garden flat in Ping Kong Road at 8.15pm after neighbours reported a strange smell to police. Police said the couple, in their 40s, had financial problems and were behind in the rent by several months. There were no suspicious circumstances.
