Midland has more than 540 branches, 8,000 employees and offers professional services ranging from real estate brokerage to immigration consultancy and professional training for estate agency participants.
The company is looking for a senior legal counsel to be based in its Central head office.
According to senior human resources manager Daisy Ho, the ideal candidate for this challenging role should be a Hong Kong-qualified solicitor with at least seven years of post-qualification experience, primarily in conveyancing and litigation work.
Applicants should also have a sound knowledge of operations of the Hong Kong real estate market.
'In-house experience gained in a listed company is additionally highly desirable,' Ms Ho said.
The new incumbent is expected to have excellent drafting, analytical and interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate and negotiate highly effectively is also a must.
'You should be assertive, with a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity,' Ms Ho said.
An excellent command of written and spoken English, and Cantonese is essential.
