On May 13, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, in the United States, will host a special concert featuring renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma with a new, rather odd-looking conductor. Asimo, an advanced humanoid robot created by Japan's Honda Motor, will lead the orchestra in a performance of Impossible Dream. The robot's name stands for 'advanced step in innovative mobility'. It is being used in various programmes to encourage and inspire young students to pursue education in maths, science and music. See the humanoid's moves for yourself on YouTube (keyword: 'Asimo').
