Security guard collapses, dies
A 52-year-old security guard died after collapsing at his guard post on the ground floor of a New Kwai Fong Gardens building in Kwai Yi Road, Kwai Chung, at 6.20am. Police said the man had told a colleague he was not feeling well about two hours before he was found collapsed.
Would-be bicycle thief arrested
Police arrested a 49-year-old man for trying to steal a bicycle from the ground-floor rear staircase of Luk Chuen House, Lek Yuen Estate, Sha Tin, at 1.40am. The man was caught cutting the chain locking the bicycle to railings.
