The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed two more cases of enterovirus 71 infection, taking the total for the year to 22. A one-year-old boy developed a fever and rash over his hands and feet on May 7 and was admitted to United Christian Hospital. He was discharged last Tuesday. A two-year-old girl developed similar symptoms of hand, foot and mouth disease on May 12.
