Training cabin crew, pilots and engineers is a priority

People are the airline's principal asset and the company believes that success will only come through creating an environment where all of its staff are nurtured and developed.

Jet Airways therefore puts great emphasis on training. The company has been providing training in its Mumbai centre for in-flight crew since 1992. Over the years, the airline has expanded its training facilities to cover pilots in addition to engineering and maintenance personnel.

On top of its two full flight simulators for training pilots on a Boeing 737, it now has two full flight state-of-the art wide body simulators for training B777 and A330 pilots.

Cabin crew training is conducted in-house at the company's training centre with cabin mock-ups and an internationally trained and experienced faculty.

The airline is also in the process of establishing its own training academy.
