Decorated band Travis to give HK a sample of the Glasgow pop sound
with Andrew Sun. Additional reporting by Clara Mak.
New additions to the summer concert schedule continue to grow with the news that Scottish band Travis is bringing their Glasgow pop sounds to the AsiaWorld-Arena on Thursday July 31. Brought to town by Midas Promotions, this will be the Brit Awards' best British band's first appearance in town. Tickets go on sale from Monday.
The quartet is touring in support of last year's The Boy With No Name album, although there is another recording, Ode to J. Smith, that is supposed to come out some time this year, so you could expect to hear some new songs too.
Tickets for the show are HK$780 for the standing section at the front and for some seated areas, and HK$480 for the remainder of the seated section. They will be available through HK Ticketing and Tom Lee outlets. The hotline is 3128 8288.
