Samsung Electronics has put a new spin on multitasking with its i8 digital camera. The 8.2-megapixel snapper, with a 3x zoom lens and a 2.7-inch display, allows users to take still pictures and video, play music and video, and run a slideshow. The MP3 mode comes with surround sound for a rich playback experience while its World Tour Guide function provides useful travel information on 6,500 tourist spots. The device also has a photo-style selector with seven special effects (soft, vivid, forest, retro, classic, cool and calm). Available in blue, black, pink and white, the Samsung i8 digital camera costs HK$2,190.
