Brand story: In Essence Aromatherapy
Who's behind it? The Australian brand began in 1986, focusing on a selection of pure essential oils for therapeutic use, and is registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration. It's just launched in Hong Kong with a new range of anti-ageing face and body treatments containing essential oils and botanical extracts.
What's the spin? The new skin-care range harnesses pure essential oils and is fortified with the brand's glycoprotein amino peptide complex called Recellagen. Training and education manager Pat Princi-Jones says the essential oils have also been recently repackaged to make them more modern and to coincide with a resurgence in the popularity of aromatherapy.
Future plans? A day cream with SPF will launch in July, and a men's range is planned for next year.
