A bottle of fabric softener is 77.3 per cent, or HK$8.50, more expensive at a supermarket than at a pharmacy in Sham Shui Po, the Consumer Council's bi-weekly price survey revealed. It also found that a packet of cheese crackers, which cost only HK$9.90 at a supermarket, was priced at HK$14.90 in a beauty and health-care chain store.
