The police force is considering replacing its fleet of motorcycles with electric scooters. Since April, traffic police have been testing 10 scooters developed by US company Vectrix and a decision will be made in October, said Senior Inspector Li Tung-cheung. The US$11,000 scooters can travel up to 90km on a full charge and have a top speed of 100km/h.
