Australian-Chinese TV chef Kylie Kwong has a new programme and book out. Both are called My China, chronicling her exploration of the various cuisines found across the country.

The show airs later this month on Discovery Travel & Living, but if you'd rather see Kwong in person, she will be in the city from Saturday until Thursday June 19. Kwong will be doing some interviews and book signings and appearances on June 18.

The day begins with a meet-and-greet session with fans at the Prince's Building Dymocks store from 11am to noon. Then she moves upstairs to Bookazine on the third floor of the same building at 12.30pm. From 2pm to 3pm Kwong will hold a talk and sign more books at Kelly & Walsh in Pacific Place. Pre-registration at kara.lau@kellyandwalsh.com is required.

Incidentally, another Discovery network cooking host will also be in town next week. Vietnamese-American wacky guy and host of World Cafe Asia, Bobby Chinn, is plugging his Wild Wild East book of recipes at Dymocks IFC on June 16.
