Founder school of ESF, catering for 540 students. The school's curriculum is enquiry centred and moving towards Primary Years Programme (PYP) accreditation. Well resourced, with strong ICT provision in all classrooms. Expressive arts programme that allows children to excel in art, music and drama alongside more traditional academic subjects. An ESF primary school educating 360 children from over 26 countries. The school was rebuilt in 1988 and has specialist music, art/design, technology, Mandarin and science rooms. It has a 'neighbourhood' feel and parents are closely involved in many areas. There is a strong School Council and active PTA.

One of the largest ESF primaries, catering for about 900 pupils. Thirty classrooms are all ICT-equipped. Specialist teachers for drama, Putonghua, music, PE and English as an Additional Language. Shares a campus with ESF's Sha Tin College, giving pupils access to facilities usually associated with secondary schools and smoothing transition from primary to secondary. Discovery College commenced operation in August 2007 from temporary premises in Lai King for one year. Full school operation at the new campus in Discovery Bay will start in August. The college combines a primary school and a secondary school which will offer the IB at all levels and has a strong community outreach and pastoral programme involving children and parents. Discovery College supports the ESF tradition of excellent co-curriculum activities for all ages, offering a variety of clubs and a range of music, drama, dance, sport and debates that promote excellence.

Renaissance was the ESF's first private independent School. It opened in 2006 on a purpose-built campus and will eventually cater for 2,100 students. It follows the IB curriculum from Years 1 to13. There is a strong commitment to Putonghua provision throughout the school.
