This week we test: eye cream
Eye cream is as crucial as face cream to nourish the thin skin around your eyes. Apply using your ring fingers to avoid damage.
Aveda Pure Vital Moisture Eye Creme (HK$310/15ml)
It may lack the customary Aveda scent, but it's as gentle on the skin as all the brand's products. A little goes a long way to moisturise and soothe eyes, making up for the over-pricing.
Benefit Eye Con (HK$300/14g)
The moussy texture smooths out dry skin around the eyes. Not too rich or sticky, but it would be good to have all ingredients of the product listed.
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (HK$320/15ml)
Eliminates dark circles, minimises dry lines and serves as a base for easy concealer application. Unfortunately, it comes in a very small and pricey jar.
Borghese Brightening Eye Enhancer ($HK380/25g)
This soothes delicate skin and helps reduce wrinkles. Moisturising but not sticky, it's also suitable for other areas of the face.
Ingrid Millet Bio-Elita Eye Cream (HK$530/20ml)
Rich, creamy and highly moisturising, but a bit too greasy and takes a while to be absorbed. Works wonders on puffiness and seems to help reduce dark circles.
