Curiosity, friends fuelling young drug use

About half of young drug abusers said curiosity prompted them to try drugs for the first time, a survey has found. About an equal percentage said invitations by friends were a factor, while 27 per cent cited a fascination with friends' experiences. The survey of 96 young drug abusers was conducted by the Caritas Jockey Club Integrated Service for Young People - Lei Muk Shue from January to this month.
