The privacy watchdog said yesterday it was trying to get more information on how 11 Word documents from the Immigration Department appeared on a file-sharing site on Sunday. 'We have to see if the concerned files were leaked before or after an undertaking was signed,' a spokesman for the privacy commission said. Director of Immigration Simon Peh Yun-lu signed an undertaking to make 10 changes to the way private data was handled after 27 files were found on a website in May.
