The year's eighth case of legionnaires' disease, a 51-year-old man, was confirmed yesterday by the Centre for Health Protection. The man was admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital on May 31 and was transferred to Wong Tai Sin Hospital on June 13. He was in critical condition last night in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The centre said investigations to find the source of the virus were continuing. The man had travelled to the mainland before falling ill. None of his family members had symptoms.
