Shirts off their back
Local fashion designers  Kanchan Panjabi and  Gio Chiappetta have created three limited-edition,  hand-painted T-shirts to be auctioned for charity. Proceeds from the auction, which will be held on July 16, will go towards the  Hong Kong Red Cross China Earthquake Relief Operation. One giant leap
Denim brand  7 for All Mankind  (far right) has opened its first store in Hong Kong. The  space is designed to resemble the Los Angeles flagship with metal hanging racks and wooden furniture. Look for jeans and accessories for men and women.  Shop 3083, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7742.
Popping up in Tokyo
Louis Vuitton and  Comme des Garcons will open a joint pop-up store in  Tokyo in  September. This is the first venture of its kind for both brands and the space will remain open for  three months.  Six limited-edition bags designed by Comme des Garcons  founder  Rei Kawakubo   can be ordered at the store.
Flagship enterprise

Fair week for fashion
Hong Kong Fashion Week and Fair is taking place until this Friday at the Convention and Exhibition Centre. It features more than  1,100 exhibitors from  20 countries, along with  seven fashion shows and  eight seminars on fashion-related topics. For  more information, go to  www.hktdc.com.
Fresh footwear   Hussein Chalayan has announced that he will launch his first footwear collection for the autumn/winter 2009 season.
