Hong Kong CyberU (HKCyberU) offers a distance MBA programme from the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Core courses include accounting, economics, finance, marketing, organisational behaviour, project management and strategic planning, along with more than 30 elective courses. Students can opt to study in Chinese or English. Face-to-face tutorials by the Polytechnic University (PolyU) faculty will be held on weekends while online discussion groups will give students access to peers worldwide.

The minimum completion time of the course is 12 months and maximum five years. Students will be assessed by a written examination after each course, rather than by coursework. The course fee is HK$12,000 per module (nine modules are required to graduate), excluding the examination fees which are HK$1,750. The deadline for applications is July25.

Students can go on to study the doctor of business administration degree also offered by Heriot-Watt University through HKCyberU. The doctoral degree takes four to seven years to complete. The course fee is HK$12,000 per module (nine modules are required to graduate) plus the examination fee of HK$1,750. Additional fees for mentors and supervisors are #1,200 (HK$18,541) and #4,000 per year respectively.
