The skinny on the newest albums

American R&B singer-songwriter, dancer and teenage heartthrob Chris Brown has once again captured the hearts and ears of listeners with his second album, Exclusive.

Still only 19, Brown has already received several Billboard and MTV awards and three Grammy nominations. His catchy, danceable tracks are proof that RnB doesn't need to resort to explicit content to be a hit.

Most of Brown's tunes have a groovy dance beat to them: fast-paced numbers like Wall to Wall defy you not to at least bob your head in time to the beat, while Grammy-nominated duet with T-Pain Kiss Kiss is guaranteed to get you on your feet.

Slower songs like With You will make you smile at the sugary sweet love promises.

The album was re-released as the 'Forever Edition' and includes four bonus tracks.

New lead single Forever, one of Brown's most successful singles to date, is the perfect blend of synthesized electropop and heavy bass lines, making it one of the best dance tunes of the year.

While the songs have an international appeal, some of the American slang, such as 'shorty' or 'shawty' (an attractive girl) and 'shrink' (a therapist), may prove problematic for non-Statesiders. But not even that can diminish the appeal: Exclusive is one album you can't miss.
