A 66-year-old cyclist was airlifted to hospital after he lost balance and careened down a slope in Sai Kung West Country Park yesterday. He was cycling with his friends when the accident happened around 11.30am. Police said that the man went down the slope for about 1.5 metres and crashed into some bushes. He was taken by a Government Flying Service helicopter to Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan. He was in a stable condition last night.
