'Introduction to Bordeaux Wine' is an evening workshop offering a Jeroboam-sized insight into the world-famous French area of viticulture where fine wines, such as Margaux, St Emilion and Pauillac, are created. The workshop is organised by the Hong Kong Management Association. The first evening will be an induction course for the three-level workshop and it includes a general presentation of Bordeaux vineyards, the climate, soils, grape varieties, winemaking, ageing of wines and tasting techniques. The workshops are led by accredited tutors who are wine-service professionals from the Bordeaux Wine School. This is an opportunity for aspiring sommeliers or wine lovers who crave more knowledge.

'Workshop For Effective Executive/Personal Assistants (PAs)' is a three-hour evening course organised by The British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and conducted by The Communication Group. Executive or personal assistants, managers or members of staff who assist senior executives should attend. This is a chance for assistants to increase their contribution to their company and their chances of promotion. The seminar will help those who aspire to be middle or senior managers. The objective is to help participants develop self-management skills, prioritise effectively, improve problem-solving skills and develop strategies.
