Rafi Ahmed

Co-head, global markets, Middle East and North Africa

Of Mr Ahmed's 28 years in banking, 20 were in global markets, where his focus has been on client coverage and derivative sales capabilities. He will be responsible for the treasury, foreign exchange, derivatives, debt and equity capital markets.

Anand Krishnamurthy

Co-head, global markets, Middle East and North Africa

Mr Krishnamurthy has been with the bank since 1992, most recently as co-head of global markets, India. He has wide experience in trading, risk and balance sheet management. He was also involved in the growth of the Indian onshore derivatives market.

Mr O'Neill has worked in the recruitment sector for the past 15 years. He has managed and implemented projects for clients ranging from Taylor Woodrow to Unisys Australia and KPMG. In May, he relocated to Hong Kong to grow Talent2 Asia's HR outsourcing business.

Mr Leung has extensive experience in the financial industry and has led a number of audit and advisory projects across Hong Kong, the mainland and Britain. His clients include a wide range of financial institutions on the mainland and other parts of the world.

Erik Soderlind

Mr Soderlind will lead the firm's regional competition and antitrust practice. He has extensive experience in competition law enforcement, and has worked for competition regulatory bodies. He is a leading competition and antitrust lawyer with a strong roster of multinational clients.

Joe Birrell

Mr Birrell joined HRG in 1984 as a business travel consultant and has since held various senior management roles in operations, sales and business development. Most recently he was responsible for several multinational clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Kelly Tso Connelly

Ms Connelly will direct the human resource and administration activities at Imagi's Hong Kong headquarters, and will coordinate global HR operations from Los Angeles to Tokyo. She has more than 19 years of experience in HR management.

Michael Bishop

Mr Bishop will be responsible for the firm's operations across Asia, including Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. He joins AXA from Prudential Corporation Asia, where he was regional managing director responsible for the life businesses.
