Hongkonger's outstanding achievement

Mickey Yan Wai-kiu, 38, has been selected as one of 10 Outstanding Young Persons of the World by the Junior Chamber International. Mr Yan - who was one of the 10 Outstanding Young Persons Award winners last year for providing voluntary cleaning services to infected areas during the Sars outbreak - was recognised for his personal improvement and accomplishment. He also set up a charity that establishes schools for poor children in six mainland provinces.
