Internal auditor must have cross-cultural sensitivities

One of Asia's leading value-added supply chain management groups is searching for someone who will be instrumental in its internal financial affairs.
Roly International Holdings is inviting applications for group internal auditor, and looking for someone with cross-cultural sensitivities and a minimum of eight years of experience working for a multinational in the Asia-Pacific and the mainland. Internal audit expertise in finance, operations and information technology from a Big Four accounting firm is preferred and previous exposure in the trading and distribution industry is a plus.
Applicants should have a degree and be qualified as a Certified Public Accountant because the auditor will perform internal audits and conduct risk assessments of the group, and make recommendations on improvement accordingly at a senior controller level.
The candidate will be responsible for assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of financial and operational controls of the group's subsidiary listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange and overseas subsidiaries.
The successful candidate will report to the board and should be well versed in determining risk, identifying control issues, assisting in formulating group policy, procedures and recommending best compliance practices.
