The Adjective Clause
This is a dependent clause which adds more information to a noun. It is possible to combine two sentences into one with an adjective clause.
The clause follows the noun and begins with one of the relative pronouns, such as who, which, where or that.
Below is an example from the passage:
The international media also cried foul over China's selection criteria for hostesses - female volunteers who handed medals to the winners.
