What's on for the Mid-Autumn Festival

The Urban Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival, from 8pm until 11pm today at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay. The programme will include Chinese songs and dances, acrobatics, a magic show, Asian cultural performances, flamenco and accordion performances, fortune-telling, lantern installations and an art exhibition.

The lantern exhibition, 'WonderWaterWorld', at the Cultural Centre piazza, Tsim Sha Tsui, runs until October 12. The display, which features marine and wetland creatures, aims to increase public awareness of environmental protection.

'Sparkling Memories Under the Moon', a lantern exhibition at West Kowloon waterfront promenade runs until October 12. A free shuttle bus service between Kowloon Park (near the entrance at Austin Road) and West Kowloon waterfront promenade will be provided today and tomorrow from 7pm to 11.15pm. The event will showcase traditional hand-made lanterns.

An exhibition displaying the winning designs of the Mid-Autumn Lantern Design Competition is on at the Exhibition Hall, 1/F, Low Block, Hong Kong City Hall until Saturday.
