Die another day

Apple

The erroneous publication by Bloomberg last month of a 2,500-word obituary for Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder and chief executive, brought his state of health back into the spotlight following a cancer scare in 2004. Don't worry; Jobs is alive and kicking. But it is best to hear the man himself talk about his life. On YouTube (keywords: 'Steve Jobs Stanford'), the Mac mogul reminisces about some of his most pivotal experiences - including taking a calligraphy class, getting fired from Apple and being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer ('I didn't even know what a pancreas was,' he says) - during his commencement address at Stanford University, in California, the United States, in June 2005. The video may be a few years old, but Jobs' wish to 'stay hungry, stay foolish' inspires to this day.
