Korean crunch on the cards after draw

Hong Kong have been seeded third and are drawn in pool C with Sri Lanka and India for the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens Asian qualifying tournament in a fortnight. Assuming they top the pool, Hong Kong are set to meet South Korea in a crunch semi-final, with the winners booking their berth for the World Cup in Dubai next March. A dozen men's teams and nine women's teams will take part in the Asian qualifiers on October 4-5 at Hong Kong Football Club. There are two berths for the men - the finalists - while for the women, three teams qualify.
