New roof for defaced Stubbs Road mansion

King Yin Lei mansion will unveil its new roof early next year. The 71-year-old mansion on Stubbs Road, defaced by its owner last year, has been under two-phase restoration work. The first phase covers restoration of ceramic roof tiles and decorative features, and is expected to be completed early next year. The second phase, to be completed the year after, will involve the repair of windows, doors, mouldings, flooring, stained glass and mosaic tiles.
