About 50 diners fled from a 24-hour restaurant when an underground water pipe burst in Mong Kok, spraying into the eatery before dawn yesterday. The Chung Nam Hoi restaurant, in the basement of Dynasty Plaza in Mong Kok Road, was quickly flooded to a depth of 2 metres. About HK$800,000 worth of dried seafood was damaged, its manager said.
