Zhou Mi is the lone Hong Kong survivor at the Chinese Masters Super Series, beating Anu Nieminen of Finland in the second round of the singles in Jiangsu yesterday. The sixth seed cruised to a 21-15, 21-9 win to set up a clash with top seed Lu Lan of China in the third round. In the men's singles competition, Hong Kong's Ng Wei took the opening game from Joachim Persson of Denmark but failed to maintain the momentum and finished up losing 2-1, while Chan Yan Yan-kit was no match for Tenichi Tago of Japan, losing in straight games.
