The report 'SFC to investigate claims banks dressed up Lehman minibonds' on page A2 yesterday incorrectly stated that the Securities and Futures Commission would investigate whether banks misrepresented Lehman Brothers minibonds they sold to investors. The SFC is looking into the conduct of three distributors of the products and whether proper disclosure was made in prospectuses and marketing material.
