190 new ambulances to cost HK$200m

The Fire Services Department would spend HK$200 million to replace 190 ambulances over the next two years, chief ambulance officer Mak Kwai-pui said yesterday. The department would have about 35 new ambulances by the end of the year. He said inspections of vehicles had been increased from three times a year to four.
