The United States is at a critical point in its relationship with Asia as the nation gears up for a new president and important changes are expected in Washington. Mike Chinoy, a foreign correspondent and author of the highly acclaimed book Meltdown: The Inside Story of the North Korean Nuclear Crisis, will discuss the US and Asia as the post-Bush era approaches.

'Work-Life Balance - A Business Issue?' is a lunchtime seminar organised by the Hong Kong Securities Institute. Achieving good work-life balance is a hot topic with more companies turning to a five-day work week and investing more in helping staff achieve a healthier balance between work and leisure hours. This seminar will look at why work-life balance is a business issue, the state of work-life balance in Hong Kong and what companies can do to address this topic. It will also introduce Hong Kong's first Work-life Balance Day.
